Moher House Bed & Breakfast is a peaceful West Coast retreat set in award winning gardens, most recent award 2008.

There is always a cup of tea, homemade scone, and a chat on arrival. In the evening you can really relax and unwind, enjoying the comfort of an open peat fire in the welcoming atmosphere of Moher House.

Marian is renowned for her home cooking.  High standards and presentation are second to none, especially for her freshly made evening meals and of course vegetarians are catered for.
A complimentary Irish Coffee after dinner is a must.

In the morning a wide and varied menu is offered  including homemade breads and jams - the choice is up to you!  So just sit back and enjoy a leisurely breakfast cooked by Marian.

We are located off the Western Way and Croagh Patrick Heritage Trail. Transport is no problem if required. Moher House is ideally located for touring Connemara, Achill, Knock Shrine or the many places of interest in Mayo.

Other local amenities include trout fishing, (Moher Lake is just across the road), golf, sailing, tennis and horse riding. Westport town centre, a great spot for traditional music, crafts and culture is only a few minutes drive. Again, we are happy to provide a lift.

We invite you to spend a relaxing night in our home and wake up in the morning to breathtaking views of Croagh Patrick and Moher Lake.
